More Information on the Program for Instructional ExcellenceThe Fall 2008 Teaching Excellence Series will be held in the Starry Conference Room, Rovetta Business Building, room 214 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:
September 18, 2008 - Minimizing Risk and Maximizing Return: The Value of a Positive Attitude, Positive Reinforcement and Sincerity with William Woodyard, J.D. , a 2007-08 FSU Undergraduate Teaching Award Winner from the College of Business. Professor Woodyard believes that creating a positive learning experience for the student is the responsibility of the instructor. Being honest, realistic, using humor, setting high standards, and admitting to mistakes will maximize the classroom experience for both student and instructor.
